Scope of Work

Pricing & Estimates

Our responsibility is limited to the work specifically included in the approved scope. Work outside the agreed scope is treated as additional work and requires approval before proceeding.

We provide clear estimates and, where applicable, fixed-price contracts based on the agreed scope. Estimates are based on the information available at the time and may change if the scope changes or unforeseen conditions are discovered.

Change Orders

Payments

Any change to the scope, design, materials, finishes, or project requirements must be approved in writing. Additional work or upgrades may result in additional costs and schedule adjustments.

Payments are due according to the agreed payment schedule. If an account becomes overdue, Golden Neon Inc may provide written notice and suspend work until outstanding amounts are resolved. Project delays resulting from non-payment may affect the completion schedule and may result in reasonable additional costs.

Materials & Upgrades

Permits & Approvals

Material allowances and selections are based on the approved project scope. If a client chooses upgraded or higher-cost materials, the difference in cost will be added to the project price.

Required permits, inspections, strata approvals, property-owner approvals, and other authorizations must be obtained as required for the project. Responsibility for permits and approvals will be clearly identified in the project agreement.

Project Delays

Unforeseen Conditions

Construction schedules are estimates and may be affected by permitting, inspections, material availability, weather, site conditions, client decisions, design changes, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Existing or concealed conditions such as structural issues, moisture, mold, plumbing, electrical deficiencies, or other hidden conditions may not be identifiable before construction begins. If discovered, additional work may require a revised scope and price.

Site Access & Responsibilities

Safety & Site Conditions

Clients must provide reasonable access to the property and ensure that required approvals and client-supplied materials are available when needed. Personal belongings should be secured before construction begins.

For the safety of workers, clients, and visitors, construction areas may be restricted during active work. Clients and unauthorized persons must not enter restricted areas without permission from site personnel.

Workmanship Warranty

Warranty Claims

Where included in the project agreement, Golden Neon Inc provides a workmanship warranty for qualifying defects in our workmanship. Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, and claim procedures are defined in the applicable project agreement.

Clients must notify Golden Neon Inc in writing of any potential workmanship issue and provide us with a reasonable opportunity to inspect and address the issue before arranging repairs through another contractor.

Cancellation

Photography & Portfolio

Cancellation terms are established in the signed project agreement. Clients may be responsible for approved work completed, materials purchased or committed, and other applicable costs resulting from cancellation.

Communication

Subcontractors & Trades

Contract Governs

Clear communication is essential to every project. Project instructions, approvals, changes, and important decisions should be provided in writing to help maintain an accurate project record.

Depending on the project, Golden Neon Inc may coordinate qualified subcontractors, trades, consultants, or specialists for specific portions of the work. All work remains coordinated through the project management process.

These website policies are general guidelines and do not replace the signed project agreement. The approved contract, scope of work, change orders, and applicable project documents govern the specific terms of each project.

Golden Neon may photograph and post completed work for documentation, portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise. We will respect client requests regarding privacy.
